Honestly, I do not read a whole lot of fiction. When I do, it is often at night, when I am tired and want to unwind and lose myself in something. Also, I get bored easily and have little patience for low-quality, high-mass fiction. This book, which is told from multiple perspectives, kept my attention and interest until the end. It is basically about a dysfunctional, interesting family, The Plumbs (hey- it could be any of ours), and the lives they weave along the way. The writing was fresh and interested me, and I was left satisfied.
